Strategic partnership between GPS.at and RIWA GmbH

The German geoinformation system pioneer RIWA has entered into a sales and technology partnership with GPS.at, one of the leading providers of GPS vehicle tracking, fleet management and pool car reservation. RIWA GmbH is one of the GIS industry leaders in Bavaria and Germany and is our future preferred partner for municipal administration in Germany. Our GPS Fleet Software will be integrated into RIWA GmbH’s offering and geared towards municipalities, building yards and public clients.

The GPS Fleet software is integrated into RIWA’s Smart Data Services (SDS) software solutions in order to offer municipal users maximum added value. Users benefit from the exchange of GIS data with telematics when it comes to verifying the services provided in summer and winter service or when billing operating hours and machine hours. With the introduction of the digital electronic logbook in companies, significant time savings can also be expected.

With this partnership, RIWA is expanding its product portfolio with the GPS Fleet Software, which offers all the important information for meaningful GPS tracking for digital fleet management and electronic logbooks through to alerting and optimization of the vehicle fleet. With the integration of GPS Fleet Software, companies in municipal administration can be optimally supported in summer and winter service data collection.

GPS.at opens up broader market access with this collaboration. RIWA is represented throughout Bavaria and serves more than 1,400 customers nationwide in the areas of municipal administration, industry, energy supply, geoinformation, software development and digitization in the fields of data management, surveying and water management. RIWA GmbH is a company of the AKDB Group, which has been developing a complete range of solutions for the digitization of municipalities and public institutions since 1971. Another partner from the AKDB Group is Data Intelligence Consultancy roosi from Rosenheim, where the successful partnership with GPS.at in the area of IoT platforms is being continued and expanded.
