GEOFENCE AREAS IN GPS POSITIONING
In GPS positioning, geofence areas are used to give important addresses or areas meaningful names. Geofence areas are marked for customer addresses, branches, but also for construction sites or road sections for winter road maintenance . In the GPS Fleet software, geofences can be displayed in the GPS Live view; the geofence names are also used in the logbook, alerts and reports; geofence areas can also be imported via the Excel import function or exported and edited via Excel, and can also be created via interfaces.

Documenting operating times at the customer
Today, many tendering customers require digital documentation of working hours. When we carry out waste disposal and green cuttings in the customer’s parking lots or green spaces in summer, as well as during winter services.
- WITHOUT GPS positioning, we had to rely on a manual paper trail.
- We couldn’t see any times at the head office until the slips were at the branch and registered.
- Inquiries from customers and their service managers could only be dealt with by calling back, which involved waiting times and increased effort.
Now WITH the use of geofence zones
- we draw the green areas directly into the GPS Fleet software at the head office.
- The entry and exit times are recorded digitally, which is accurate and traceable for customers.
- customer complaints and queries can be answered immediately.
