Toolmatix – Battery locators

Toolmatix-23 GPS tracking devices are the perfect solution for GPS tracking of small equipment, construction machinery, vibratory plates or containers. Especially when it comes to GPS tracking of expensive construction equipment such as cleaning machines, work platforms, climbers or trailers, stability, long runtimes and simple operation are essential. Thanks to internal batteries, the GPS tracker also works over a very long runtime, either with movement every 15 minutes for up to 1 season (estimate) or with 2 points a day for 2 years or longer.

Unfortunately, small appliances, rammers and vibratory plates keep disappearing from our construction sites. Sometimes we even have to contend with several thefts in one weekend.

With the Toolmatix GPS trackers, we monitor smaller construction machines and excavators that are easy to transport against theft. The GPS trackers are small and easy to install and our foremen receive an alarm if the device or construction machine is no longer on the construction site.

As a result, we have already been able to clear up several thefts of construction machinery and, with the help of the police, get the construction equipment back before it could leave the country across the border.

Stolen screed conveyor system recovered

The screed conveyor disappeared from one of our construction sites in the middle of Munich and then remained missing for 14 days. In addition to the financial loss for the replacement, we also had to deal with downtimes and rescheduling until we had a screed system on the construction site again…

With the help of GPS.at and the installed Toolmatix GPS device for small machines, the signal reappeared after 14 days when the screed delivery block was removed. We passed on the live location to the police, who were able to secure the screed pump on the highway using the Toolmatix tracker.

Advantages of the self-sufficient Toolmatix construction machine tracker

High-precision GPS

Toolmatix GPS trackers are equipped with state-of-the-art GPS modules for precise GPS positioning even in difficult situations, because Toolmatix devices are often installed in hidden locations to prevent theft (e.g. to monitor plastering machines, attachments, screed pumps).

Screwable IP68 housing (waterproof) with internal rubber seal, with industrial batteries better runtime at sub-zero temperatures than lithium-ion batteries. If you want to avoid problems with lithium-ion batteries (fire hazard in hot weather, discharge in cold weather), you should use normal industrial lithium batteries, which are unproblematic to use.

Easy to use

Attach or install within minutes and off you go! Monitor the small appliances via smartphone or PC.

The battery level is transmitted when the batteries run out, simply unscrew and replace. Simple replacement of industrial batteries within a few minutes instead of recharging weakening lithium batteries. Other cheap products with internal lithium-ion batteries cannot keep up here because recharging is usually not possible in terms of time.

Long-term theft protection

Monitor small appliances for 2 to 4 years (depending on the appliance) without recharging thanks to ultra-low energy consumption. With 2 points a day, a runtime of 2 or more years is possible. Many customers set close tracking (every 15 minutes when there is movement) and get by with this for 1 season or longer.The Toolmatix GPS trackers react to movement and send alarms. If the device is reported stolen, we can increase the transmission frequency and thus find lost devices more quickly.

The Toolmatix GPS trackers are available in three different models Toolmatix-Mini, Toolmatix-23 and Toolmatix-42, depending on the desired runtime. The models differ in size and the batteries used.
