Globally deployable IoT solution

For OEMs, dealers, corporate customers, incl. global data SIM

What can the t-matix IoT module do?

With our IoT module matix, OEMs and machine manufacturers can offer customized web applications and smartphone web apps for their dealers, partners and customers.

The focus is on the implementation of simple use cases (e.g. maintenance), the visualization of important data in the form of dashboards and implementation on smartphones.

What makes our IoT module particularly special is that the design can be quickly adapted to the manufacturer’s branding. The OEM can manage its resellers in the software and activate end customer access.

The software can be used globally in different time zones and languages.

We offer you the right global IoT routers (4G and 5G) to transmit your data securely using IoT SIM cards.

“We chose GPS.at as a partner with whom we can carry out our project in the IoT area on an equal footing and extremely efficiently. The decision for the IoT module was the right one and our journey together is far from over!”

Our company has a long tradition and has been building tracked mobile systems with a (diesel) electric drive concept for 35 years now. Our machines are controlled by PLC and we have been able to carry out remote maintenance independently using modems. We were able to retrieve live data from the machines, but we lacked the complete process of continuously transmitting, storing and analyzing the data.

Was there an impetus to want to make the products, your machines “smart”?

The existing data should be used sensibly and clear added value should be created for our customers.

How did you proceed?

The first important step on the way to a digital future in which a machine can recognize different operating states and make the optimal settings independently in a timely manner (“autonomous breaking”) is an IoT platform for storing the data obtained. Our team set out to find a suitable IoT platform in order to make meaningful use of the measured data and offer its customers added value with corresponding visualization and analysis options.

What advantages do you already see?

With the GPS Fleet software and the IoT module, we can now provide all measured machine data including user management in the portal as well as an easy way to order spare and wear parts for the machines using the app.

What added value have you already seen since its introduction?

Observing changes in the behavior of certain machine parameters in different applications. IoT data can be used to gain such insights from data analysis and take them into account in new developments, which can generate considerable added value for the entire company.
