Company takeover of Carpanion by GPS.at
Vöcklabruck. Software-Management GmbH, known for its gps.at brand and as a specialist in telematics systems, is expanding its portfolio with a key acquisition. The company Carpanion, which specializes in fleet management and pool car reservation systems, has been taken over in its entirety.
The technical expertise of the tool is thus incorporated into the further development of the GPS Fleet software and lays the foundation for the massive expansion of the brand presence in the DACH region. In future, Software-Management GmbH will offer leading pool car software with optional telematics power under the Carpanion brand.
What Carpanion brings to the table
Carpanion telematics systems go far beyond the classic functions of an electronic logbook. Individual solutions for different company sizes, comprehensive evaluation options, full electric compatibility and data protection at all levels meet the highest demands. This expertise is now being incorporated into the existing telematics technology of GPS Fleet Software. Mr. Alexander Wagner from Carpanion will remain on board as an expert for fleets and reservation tools, and will take over software sales in the entire German-speaking region. In addition to the classic reservation tool, customers now receive a wide range of products and functions. Carpanion resources and experience are available to Software-Management GmbH for the future development of the tool. This increases creditworthiness, stability and sales strength. This puts Software-Management GmbH in a unique position for future tenders and negotiations with major customers. Nothing stands in the way of further growth of the existing portfolio and the current brand positioning.
