Which reports are part of digital fleet management?

Fleet managers will find a wide range of reports in the GPS Fleet software. With detailed data, fleet managers can call up all the information they need to keep track of the fleet’s utilization and operating times.
Fleet managers very often use data from the digital logbook to query mileage and evaluate the mileage and kilometers covered per vehicle, driver or cost centre.

Fleet reports

Based on the digital logbook, the following are evaluated: Driving times per driver or vehicle, standing times, kilometers driven
The driving times are evaluated per trip, daily or monthly.

Operating time reports

Operating times at customers or on construction sites, the time spent on site is recorded. Entering or leaving geofence areas is evaluated in detail.

Operating hours reports

Evaluation of daily operating hours on construction sites.
Operating hours of construction machinery, excavators or construction equipment are recorded and evaluated via telematics.

It was a long way from the initial idea of digitizing the operating hours for our construction machines to implementation… Our employees were used to writing down operating hours and cost centers on a piece of paper, and these construction site reports wandered across several desks until they were entered into the ERP system.
When implementing the digital recording of operating hours, it was important for us to be able to receive a wide variety of data sources, from stand-alone small devices and telematics devices in the excavator to data from the manufacturer’s telematics system (AEMP). These operating hours are collected daily via interfaces and transferred to our ERP systems.
